This is Cefalu, [shuf a lou], It is the trendy “IN” place
of Scicily now? Beautiful beach & warm water!! We stopped there about 5:00
P.M. Our hotel was just across the street from the beach, and you had to have
a pass to use the beach, because each hotel had a portion reserved for their own
customers! Anyhow Marlene is like a kid, it was the beach before anything else!!
She enjoyed the water, and I waded around for her!! Actually I needed to find and ATM
. I was almost out of euro’s and those Italians did not want my dollars!! |

After the swim Marlene & I hiked up this
hill trying to find the main road, to go look at the beautiful church you could
see from a distance. We went up the hill and turned left and there were all the
residents having their “passagiata” evening stroll before dinner! So we joined
right in!! |

I’m feeling a bit more relaxed now, I found
and ATM!! We also found the Church at top of hill!!
We went in and since it was Sunday, they were having and evening Mass, in either
Italian or Latin, so we just stood in back for a bit and left! Wasn’t sure how
picture would take, it was getting dark! |
