Joseph Francis Marchese

Son of Salvadore Marchese

Joseph was the youngest son of Salvadore and Maria, born in 1910. Joseph was a salesman with his father and brother's business. He married Lorraine Sivertson in 1937. They had a very beautiful wedding at Sacred Heart Church in San Jose.
Here is the wedding party: Maid of Honor was Aida Zicardi (Joe's cousin that was partly raised by Joe's parents), Best Man was Paul Marchese (Joseph's brother) and flower girl was a niece of Lorraine.
Here is part of the honeymoon for Joseph and Lorraine. They drove to Hollywood, San Diego and Mexico. Here is their stop in S.D. to visit cousin John Marchese, wife Dee, and daughter Marlene. John and Joe are at John's work place, Klauber-Wagenhein Grocers. Marlene was 3 yr. old.
Baby Nyla was born July 1938. With happy and proud Mom and Dad.
Reception at the home of Salvadore and Maria. Bride and Groom at top of steps. Mostly Marchese's. Mother Maria sitting on top step and older man at bottom could be Salvadore.
