Marchese Christmas 2004
The
Marchese Christmas Party was held at the home of Marlene Marchese Robershaw,
December 18th, 2004! This is a picture of Hostess Marlene and her daughter Valerie
preparing the luncheon for the Party. Unfortunately there would not be as many
guests as in previous years. Senior Patriarch Joseph Marchese [ age 91 ] recently
lost his wife Mabel and was a little under the weather from moving to a new
home. Josephine Marchese Brown was out of town for Christmas visiting a daughter
in Colorado! Other family members were either out of town or sick with the flu!
However Mario Jr. and a large number of other guests made it a delightful afternoon
in a relaxed Holiday atmosphere.
Marlene's
son Tom Robershaw as a belated Birthday present, hired a professional accordinist
Gordon Kohl to play for the Party! He played all the Italian classic's and several
Christmas Carols for the group to sing along! He was delightful and very talented.
The
lady in the center is Faye Marchese Pastore, her husband Pat, and grandson Daryl.
A wonderful Italian Family originally from New York, now resides in Escondido,
Ca. Marlene has been hoping to prove a Family tie!!

In
the photo to right is Mark and Lois Pastore, son and daughter-in-law of Pat
and Faye. They brought a photo album to share with the group, it had pictures
of their recent trip to Italy! Beautiful, and quiet a feat for their two grown
daughters and son Daryl!!
