After spending the night in La Spezia, we caught the train to Pisa! We were able to stow our suitcases in lockers at the terminal and catch a bus to the Cathedral. It was a shock because, this was the 1st time we had encountered large tourist groups!!

A side entrance to the Cathedral, the Church was very pretty inside. I'm can't recall, if picture taking wasn't allowed or our photos were to dark?

Marlene in front of the Baptistry, perhaps the newest building. It was also pretty inside and very large!!

This was as close to the Tower as we could get!! They were in the process of pumping concrete under it to stablize it. People are now allowed to go in!!
