Sorrento Page Two !
The bottom window on the corner of building was our Hotel Room! The concrete shaft on left with small building on top is a elevator shaft, it takes Hotel guests down to the beach area below! Marlene and I borrowed the key late one afternoon to take a look? We were admonished by the clerk to make sure doors were closed when we got off or the elevator key would not work!! When we got off we closed the doors, but there were some kids playing there & when we got ready to leave? The elevator doors were about a ft. apart and the key would not open the outside door and we were the only one’s left on the beach! Marlene starting pushing buttons and  I kept trying the key, we think it was the big RED one that did the trick, the door OPENED! Whew!!
The little block building on the left is a view of the elevator, from the balcony of our room. We took it to get down to the level where Marlene is!! Marlene, testing the water, she likes to swim if it's not too choppy!!
The photo above was taken from the back of the boat, leaving Sorrento on our way over to the Isle of Capri. The photo on the left is our arrival into the harbor at the Isle of Capri. It is very picturesque!!
