Our son Tom loves old or unique buildings. These are pictures from Tom's camera that he took that he thought was interesting!! The building above was in the city of Napoli on the way to to the Port. The picture on the left, is looking down Cavario St. where we stayed at the Bertucci's in Ustica. The picture on the right, is the lighthouse in Ustica. The picture below is the radar station in Ustica!!
Left, Sicilian Pizza from Salvatore for our first dinner in UStica. They ordered one pizza for each person !! We sure had leftovers. To the right is Tom and Marlene's favorite snack food, Arancini !!! It is made with risotta and either veges or meat.
At the Town Hall meeting with the Mayor, Licciardi, and one of the Council Women, Valeria. We were there to discuss possiblity of Sister Cities between Ustica and Catalina Island, Ca. Mayor was not very supportive, but Council woman Valeria was encouraging.
Tom and Marlene met with Vito Ailari, the Town Historian and promotor of the Museum and all things historical. HE was the one that found our great, great, grandmother's baptism records for us in 2010.
