The official flags are flying. Welcome Usticesi ! Saturday, Feb. 12th, Let the party begin.
The name tag table, more came then we even were expecting ! According to Pietro, he counted 65.
Here is the view, our Usticesi guests said it reminded them of Ustica and Sicily. Our pool is in our front yard.
Maria helping me with my homemade Manicotti, recipe from the New Jersey Marchese's. Maria ran a restaurant in New Orleans for 25 years. Great Cook!
Guests are arriving. Marlene, Pina Bertucci, Paul and Loella Barileau, and Pietro Bertucci. Loella is from New Orleans, so she brought hat and necklaces in preparation for the Mardi Gras.
Here are the Guiseppe (Joe) Marchese girls. 4 sisters, Laurie, Barbara, Linda and Betty Jo.
Loella Barileau, her roots are Gumina and LaGreca.
Tony and Barbara Morrison from Aguanga, Calif., Pina and Maria. Barbara's roots are Del Buono and Bertucci.
Rod and Margaret Prima-Verbeck from Orange County, Margaret's roots are Prima and Tranchina.
Pietro Bertucci talking to Laurie Marchese Stephenson, the Marchese roots are Manfre, Rando, Bertucci.
Tom and Kim Robershaw (Marchese), starting with the entrees.Tom, Kim and children live in Orange County.
Appetizer is served !! So many guests brought delicious food to share.
