Rose at her 96th Birthday !!!The Queen of the 96 Year Olds !!!. She still had
that sweet smile and that sharp mind and memory.
Rose
had been wanting to pass on to Heaven for over a year. Finally on July 2, 2007
she left us. She was buried at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery that most of
the Ziccardi and Marchese family members are.
This
is Paul Nicolini, Rose's second cousin, with his niece Karen Nicolini on the
left and daughter Mary on the right.
Also
attending the funeral was Sandra Cadigan and family. Sandra is a second cousin
of Rose. Her father Albert Marchese was one of Rose's first cousins.
Rose
is buried at the same sight as beloved nephew, Raymond (Margaret's son). Margaret's
grave is nearby in the same cemetery.
Here
is the Priest that officiated at the church Mass and also the gravesite ceremony,
which included giving the family a gold cross.

Some
of the friends that gathered for lunch after the funeral. Standing is close
friend of Rose and Margaret, Rodger Landers. He was a close friend of Raymond
and watched over the girls for more than 40 years.
