The Marchese Christmas Party 2002

We got together at Zagarella’s Italian Restaurant in Little Italy , 19 of us. Joe and Mabel joined us, what a blessing to see the 4 children together. The restaurant looked like a trip to Italy ! Bellisimo ! Great Italian & Sicilian entrees ! We began with prayer and ended with Victor singing and leading in “White Christmas” and “Jingle Bells!.” Such a great time !!!

Joe Marchese at age of 89 on January 04, 2003 still commands the head of table!! Rightfully so since he is the oldest living  son of  Mario Marchese. It was indeed a joyous celebration to have all of the Family Patriarchs together, Joe,Josephine,Victor,& Mario Marchese Jr.!! Hopefully the coming year will be a good year for all, because on July 4, 2003 will mark 100 years since Mario Marchese sailed past the Statue of Liberty in New York!! I’m sure we will all want to celebrate the occasion!!
